Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Nextria collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information when you visit or use shopnextria.com, place an order, contact us, subscribe to communications or otherwise interact with our services.
Nextria serves customers in selected international markets. Privacy rights differ by location. We comply with privacy requirements that apply to our handling of your information.
1. Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- identity and contact information, such as your name, email address, phone number, billing address and shipping address;
- order and transaction information, including products ordered, order history, payment status and fulfilment details;
- payment-related information processed through Shopify or authorised payment providers. We do not need to store full payment-card details ourselves where the payment provider processes them;
- account and customer-service information, including messages, support requests and preferences;
- device and usage information, such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, referral information and interactions with our website;
- marketing preferences and consent records;
- information collected through cookies and similar technologies.
2. How we collect information
We collect information directly from you when you place an order, complete a form, contact us or subscribe to marketing. We may also receive information automatically through the website and from service providers that support our store, including Shopify, payment providers, delivery and fulfilment providers, analytics services and fraud-prevention services.
3. Why we use personal information
We may use personal information to process and support orders; communicate about orders, returns and customer-service requests; operate, secure and improve our website; detect or prevent fraud and abuse; maintain business and legal records; comply with legal obligations; send marketing where permitted; and measure website performance.
Where a particular legal basis is required, we rely on the basis appropriate to the activity, which may include performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests or consent.
4. Marketing communications
We send marketing communications only where permitted by applicable law. You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe mechanism in a marketing message or by contacting us.
For Australian recipients, where the Spam Act 2003 applies, commercial electronic messages will include the information and unsubscribe facility required by law. Unsubscribe requests will be actioned within the period required by law.
5. Cookies and analytics
We and our service providers may use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site functioning, remember preferences, understand website performance, prevent fraud and, where permitted, support advertising or marketing measurement. Where consent is required for non-essential technologies, we will seek it through the available privacy or cookie controls.
6. How we disclose information
We may disclose personal information to service providers where reasonably necessary to operate the store, including Shopify, payment processors, fulfilment and delivery providers, customer-support services, IT and security providers, analytics providers, professional advisers and authorities where disclosure is required or permitted by law.
Some privacy laws use broad definitions of “sale”, “sharing” or targeted advertising that can apply to certain advertising or analytics disclosures even when no traditional sale of data occurs. Where such laws apply, eligible users may exercise the choices made available through our privacy controls, including the Your Privacy Choices page where applicable.
7. International and cross-border processing
Because Nextria serves international customers and uses service providers that may operate in multiple countries, personal information may be processed or disclosed outside the country where you live. The countries involved depend on the service provider, fulfilment route and processing location.
Where Australian privacy law applies to our handling of personal information, we will address applicable requirements concerning overseas disclosures. If it is practicable to identify the countries in which relevant overseas recipients are likely to be located, that information will be maintained in this policy or otherwise made available on request.
8. Australia — Privacy Act and Australian Privacy Principles
Where the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) apply to our handling of personal information, this policy is intended to explain the categories of information we collect and hold, how we collect and use it, how it may be disclosed, how you can seek access or correction, how to make a privacy complaint, and whether overseas disclosure is likely.
If you believe we have mishandled personal information, contact us first at contact@shopnextria.com. Please describe the issue and provide enough information for us to investigate. We will acknowledge and address privacy complaints within a reasonable period. Where the Australian Privacy Act applies and you are not satisfied after giving us a reasonable opportunity to respond, you may have the right to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
9. Access, correction and other privacy rights
Depending on your location and the law that applies, you may have rights to request access to personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction or objection to certain processing, portability, or withdrawal of consent. These rights are subject to legal exceptions.
To make a privacy request, email contact@shopnextria.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
10. Data retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including order fulfilment, customer support, legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention and dispute-resolution requirements. Retention periods vary according to the type of information and applicable legal obligations.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
12. Children
Our services are not directed to children who are not legally able to enter into an online purchase contract in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children except where permitted by law and appropriately authorised.
13. Automated decision-making
If we use personal information in automated decision-making in a manner that requires disclosure under applicable law, we will provide the information required by that law and update this policy as necessary.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology or legal obligations. The “Last updated” date will show when the policy was most recently revised.
